Biodiversity Statement

Dawn Pork and Bacon operates a pork processing facility producing fresh and frozen pork and bacon products. The company will actively aim to support and enhance biodiversity, through practices promoted by the company, its senior management and relevant team members.

We recognise the importance of managing and continuously striving to improve biodiversity. To achieve biodiversity improvement, we shall:

• Commit to monitoring and enhancing biodiversity across the site.
• Set and review objectives and targets on an annual basis
• Receive the support of senior management to ensure biodiversity is supported across the business
• Encourage our suppliers, customers and third parties to strategically embed biodiversity improvement within their business.
• Communicate with, educate, train and motivate those employees that are in a position to influence biodiversity improvement both on site and throughout the supply chain
• Communicate to our supply chain the importance protecting and enhancing biodiversity
• Set our ambitions in line with UN sustainable development goals.
