It is the policy of the Directors and Site Senior Management Team in Dawn Pork and Bacon to produce safe, authentic products of the highest quality that comply with all current regulatory requirements and meet or exceed customer requirements.
Dawn pork and Bacon has adopted the Bord Bia ‘food processors standard’(revision 01) and the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety (Issue 9) to define the Food safety and Quality Management System in operation within the company and will commit to the fostering of best practice and food safety culture within the business on a process of continuous improvement.
Food safety (incorporating HACCP) is central in the manufacture of our products. A multi disciplined HACCP team has implemented a HACCP plan for all our products.
All employees within our organisation are required to abide by the policy and all the procedures in the Food Safety and Quality Manuals. To facilitate this, the site Senior Management Team in Dawn Pork and Bacon will continue to communicate appropriate information to employees in relation to Food Safety and Quality and provide the necessary equipment, training, resources and development for its staff.
